HCAC’s Art in Public Places program brings the work of Hampshire County and regional artists into the places where our community lives, works and gathers.
Curated by Ken Caldwell, the program works with local businesses and community partners to create rotating exhibitions in banking lobbies, libraries, professional offices and other public spaces throughout Hampshire County.

The Hampshire County Public Library is hosting an Art in Public Places exhibition by Gervase Willis featuring scary monsters and other creepy stuff — a timely seasonal display for autumn and Halloween.

Beginning October 16, FNB Bank in Romney will host an exhibition of mixed media paintings by The Painting Ladies.
Art Where Our Community Lives & Works
Art does not have to live only in a gallery. By placing original work in familiar community spaces, Art in Public Places gives local artists greater visibility while giving residents and visitors more opportunities to encounter and enjoy art as part of everyday life.
