Art in Public Places
HCAC’s Art in Public Places program brings the work of Hampshire County and regional artists into the places where our community lives, works and gathers.
Curated by Ken Caldwell, the program works with local businesses and community partners to create rotating exhibitions in banking lobbies, professional offices and other public spaces throughout Hampshire County.

Gervase Willis — Monsters & Other Creepy Creations
September 28 through November 4, 2026
Beginning September 28, the Hampshire County Public Library will host an Art in Public Places exhibition by Gervase Willis featuring scary monsters and other creepy creations — a timely seasonal display for early autumn and Halloween.
Art Where Our Community Lives & Works
Art does not have to live only in a gallery. By placing original work in familiar community spaces, Art in Public Places gives local artists greater visibility while giving residents and visitors more opportunities to encounter and enjoy art as part of everyday life.
